“ Great food...period! starter - we had mussels , very fresh and the sauce were amazing. Meat ball, really great and the sauce made it when more better. Fried calamari, was okay but little bit too chewy in my opinion. Tomato and mozzarella salad- fresh tomato and great mozzarella was out of this world! Main- couldn’t fault it! Everything we try was really good. Spaghetti were perfectly cook and the sauce are out of this world! Pizza are also great that’s stone baked , you can really smell and taste the wood that they’re using. Risotto , really light and creamy but very felling. Over all the main are great but please keep in mind that it is pretty big. Stop by and try some. Let me know what you think ”
“ Sunday April 16th 2023 : 4 generations together for a family lunch together. Great food - tasty & well presented. Service - polite, efficient & attentive. Not so busy as we dined early, so atmosphere not as lively as usual. Clean plates all round & everyone happy & full! Thanks to the staff for a great experience ”
“ Salvatores has been a staple place to eat at in Penwortham for many years. However, after the sad passing of Salvatore himself, the family have invested in and rejuvenated this already great Italian and given it a new lease of life. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is fantastic. Being a local resident, I have eaten here many times over the years and I can honestly say I gave never had a bad meal here. I am pleased to say that the changes have not negatively impacted this establishment but only enhanced it. A nod to Salvatore himself can be seen in the photographs on the wall and the heart and soul of the restaurant are still intact. However there is a modern freshness to the place providing a comfortable and welcoming environment that should see this place last for many years to come. ”

“ My first time in the restaurant, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. We were served very quickly upon arrival, and we got a 3 course meal (one of them from the Christmas menu). The food came very quickly and it tasted amazing. We were very impressed by the service, even with the restaurant full and busy, the staff was extremely efficient and very friendly. I definitely will get back! ”
“ Visited this restaurant recently. For me, a test of how good any business is depends on a number of factors.. The ambience, the greeting on arrival, the front of house staff, and, of course, the cusine served to the table have to all be as you expect when visiting such an establishment like this.. And here, it is just impeccable, in my opinion.. Shame we don't live in the area, we we're visiting friends nearby and this restaurant was their choice to eat in.. But definitely, if we're in the area again, we'll revisit this restaurant.. I have suggested that the establishment has business cards placed in view of guests so that people can take with them if they want to share with family and friends.. And if they had them, people like me who take the time to write posts and take pictures can place on a plate to show we have eaten here.. I would also suggest to the management that if you do have special dishes available on a given night, please place a board for guests to read or get staff to let diners know.. I absolutely loved the monkfish dish .. But it was a special.. Good job, I asked.. It was delicious and presented beautifully.. Capirno in carrozza( goats cheese caramelised..) Delicious and light.. ”
“ Another very pleasant evening on Saturday the 5th of April. We had a table for 10 people and everyone enjoyed the evening. We've visited Salvtore's half a dozen times during the past 18 months having sadly overlooked this great family restaurant for other establishments. If you want fresh and tasty Italian food with an authentic flavor in a pleasant and clean place, pay them a visit. See you soon. ”
